Gary & I celebrated our 7th anniversary yesterday!

DeDe & Nevus moved to Little Elm a couple of weeks ago.

Gary, Layla & I went for our 1st visit on Saturday.

Layla had a blast running from the pups in the long hallway.

She wore herself (and us) out!!!

Layla loves to be chased, so she was in heaven....all five dogs chased her all day!

Netsie & I visited while DeDe & Gary watched football.

Layla fell asleep the second she got in her carseat.

Layla was in Ms. Jenni's class, but was moved to Ms Colleen's class the 1st day of school.

Ms. Colleen said that Layla is doing great in school. She didn't take a nap today, but did great on the potty! She ate all her lunch. Layla knows the words to most of the songs...she loves to sing!

Layla has never been in daycare or school, and seems to be adjusting well. She didn't want to come home with me when I picked her up today. On the car ride home, Layla told me that most of her friends are boys, and that they sang a song about apples and bananas!

A Visit to Dr. Halpenny

Layla went to see the doctor today for her 2 year old well child visit.

She weighs 28 lbs and is 35 inches tall. She got 1 shot. She is growing (in her words) big and strong!
