I really love apples in the fall.
Yesterday we decided to make caramel apples.
Layla had a friend over for a play date, and they were super excited to help.
The girls unwrapped all the caramels for me.
I melted the caramel on the stove top with 2 tablespoons of milk.
Mmmmm....caramel goodness.
Then I washed the apples and stuck the sticks into the cores.
I just had to take a break to take a picture of these two beauties.
Once the caramel was melted and hot, we carefully dipped the apples into caramel and then into sprinkles.
And we set them on paper plates...letting the caramel set and harden. Oh and the best tip...use paper plates. The caramel sticks to everything. It is so messy!!
Messy, but oh so delicious.
Cheers!!
Caramel apples are the best fall treat, and so fun and easy to make. And super kid friendly!!

Mmmm, good! I made some yummy dip out of peanut butter, nutella, caramel and cool whip the other night. We dipped our apple slices in it. Lawsy mercy.
That is making my mouth water! I've never made caramel apples...but I think we will have to try that! They are so cute too...what a fun day!
Those look so yummy, but sadly I'm not sure there would be enough caramels left to melt by the time I got my hands on them. I love those things! Caramel apples so Fall, reminds me of all those childhood school carnivals!
