Friends and family have been asking about our other dog Harley since Callaway died. She is doing well. She is super duper spoiled. She has always been a quiet and low key dog. Her place in our family has always been our protector...she still barks like mad and runs the fence line, but now she is somewhat coming out of her shell. She will stare at us at night until either Gary and I get her soft food. Our dogs rarely get soft dog food, or table scraps. Now she is getting fattened up! We have felt sad for her so she is getting lots of treats and special treatment. She is a priss pot for sure. And we love her! The picture above shows her new collar. She feels so pretty.
If you have read my blog you know I am a huge animal lover...and LOVE dogs and cats. Gary is allergic to cats, so we will probably never have one, but dogs...maybe we will have more in the future.

We really miss Callaway, our spunky and very energetic dog, but we know he is better now. Our poor guy was very sick. Gary and I were watching the news the other night and their was a news story about a dog that needed to be adopted. IT looked just like our Callaway. I thought about calling to get information, but we just aren't ready. I even looked online at animal shelters for another pup. Harley is a bit grouchy and has been known to be mean to other dogs. So I think we will let her be a single pup for awhile.
Hug and pet your pups tonight...you just never know when God will make them guard dogs in heaven.

Awww! Glad Harley is doing good, it's so funny how quickly animals can become part of our lives. You can never replace 'em!
I'm glad Harley is doing well...and getting spoiled!!! I'll be interested to see what pooch you'll get next...after some time.
Glad to hear Harley is doing well! :)
I love what you said about dogs being guard dogs in Heaven ... I just love that!
Aw, I am so glad to hear that Harley is doing well. It's so hard to lose a pet, it's like losing a member of your family.
