new toy for mommy

I wanted to buy a sewing with a gift card I got for Christmas. I have struggled with whether or not I would like to sew.  I kept being so wishy washy about it. I think that means I shouldn't get one. 



Since getting Bogey, the puppy, I decided on something more practical.  I am so happy with my purchase. This or a sewing machine would each be work. But knowing that a new puppy has accidents and I have a quick and easy way to clean up messes....that makes me happy!  This little machine is so cool and super easy to use.  I really wanted a smaller 'dustbuster' handheld spot steam cleaner, but I couldn't find one in the store.  I wanted it NOW, so I decided to try this green machine!

I used it today for the first time and I am  loving it! I can't wait to use it again.  I know I am a DORK!!

I feel better about my house though.  While Layla was at school, Hayden watched Toy Story I and Toy Story II.  And I cleaned and did laundry. There is nothing more awesome to me than a clean house.  I can't wait to sit down tonight after the kids go to bed and rest.  Whew!

    I bought a sewing machine I found on Black Friday and guess what?? It's still in the box! :) One day I'll get it out and play though! Sounds like you def. made the right decision at the moment! You can always get your sewing machine at another time! :)

    I'm totally laughing because when I read your post, I got all excited about your new purchase and couldn't wait to read about it. I got tickled when I realized that my excitement was over a steam cleaner that wasn't even mine! Now that's dorky! LOL!

    I want this for my furniture! My kitchen chairs have upholstered cushions. I'm CONSTANTLY spot cleaning them.

    I definitely think you picked a winner! I had the handheld dustbuster cleaner thingy and it was juuuunk. It got taken back.

    I love new toys! I need something like that too. My kids have practically destroyed the carpet in their bedrooms!

    I got a Shark steam mop and a Shark Pet cordless "dust buster" but that isn't what it is called. I love both of them!

    I love 'toys' that are practical and fun too! Now come over here and put that to work at my house! ha! I love a clean house too...just wish I could keep it that way! ;-)

    {and...love the new puppy, so cute! And Layla's skating puppy too! what fun gifts all around!!!}

    I love, LOVE a clean house. I have some things to tackle this weekend and I can't wait till it's done. This toy looks great and I'm sure you'll get a lot of use out of it. I still need to pull out my sewing machine...sigh.

    Oh I would be LOVING that!!
    I love all sorts of cleaning gadgets and cleaning products!!! They are so fun :)
    If I had more carpet around my place I would be all over something like that.
