versatile marshmallow treat

What smores like treat can you make with chocolate, marshmallows and cinnamon toast crunch cereal?

These little treasures of course!

Aren't they the cutest?

I melted about a cup of mini chocolate chips in the microwave for 30 seconds at a time until it was liquidy {I just made this word up!} enough for dipping.

I grabbed a bag of marshmallows and set them on my silver serving plate.

I crunched up a couple cups of cinnamon toast crunch cereal in a baggie and then poured it on a plate.

Then just dip mallow into chocolate then cereal and place on plate.

It really is THAT easy!

After I got them all set up on the plate I put the plate into the freezer for an hour or so...it helps the chocolate set.

IMAGINE the possibilities.  Sprinkles can be the topper...red white and blue for the 4th of July.  Or you could match the sprinkles to your party theme!  You could even use white chocolate chips.  Oh! This kind of stuff is so fun to me.  I love playing with food and making it fun for the kids and adults too!

I took these to a pool party yesterday and the moms and kids LOVED them.

  1. What a creative treat. S'mores are one of my favs...I forgot to add it to my summer list. Whoo hoo for no cavities. I need to make the kids' appointments.

  4. My MIL makes a great smores treat with chocolate chips, mini marshmallows and Golden Grams. Similar idea but she mixes them all together and puts them in a baking pan. I like your idea more though because there is much better portion control (which I need!)and it's not nearly as messy for the kiddo. Totally going to give these a whirl!

  8. I've been looking for one more thing "sweet" thing to add to Briley's birthday party!!! This is perfect. I think I'm going to try it with sprinkles :) Can I make them the night before and they still be good for a party at 10 the next day? Should I keep them in the fridge the whole night?
