Ain't no thang like a chicken wang.
I feel like the internet has erupted with praises of this dip called Buffalo Chicken Dip.
I don't want to be left out. If something is raved about you know I am going to try it!
I will say I changed the recipe a bit. I don't care for crumbled blue cheese, and this recipe has it listed as an ingredient. My recipe is adapted from the link above. I also don't like to call my hot wings buffalo wings. I think I have discussed that on here before, so I won't get all into that.
Soooo, I'll just get on to the goods...
Chicken Wing Dip
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup ranch dressing
1/4 cup blue cheese dressing
1/2 cup of wing sauce
1 cup of cheddar cheese
3 cups of shredded chicken
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Mix cream cheese, salad dressings, cheddar cheese and wing sauce.
Stir it up real good and add the chicken.
Bake for 25 minutes.
Do your recipes get dirty? Mine do.
This dip is amazing with fresh veggies. We ate it with celery, carrots and crackers. The kids ate the dip too. Gary loved it and I am pretty sure I will be making it again very soon.
We ate this entire pan in one night. Just the four of us. Yum!
Gonna try this soon! I don't like blue cheese either. Can you taste the dressing in there? Or should I double up on the ranch??
ReplyDeleteMy recipes always get dirty!!
MMMM...I am so going to try this!!!
ReplyDeleteToo keep my recipes clean. I have clear chopping mats form the dollar store and I just slip my recipe under that :)
Thanks for sharing!
Yum! Jason and I would like this, but I don't know if I could talk my kiddos into eating this:) There is a lady at church that makes a similar recipe to this, but she puts it in the crock pot.
ReplyDeleteThis is one of our favorite things. You can also use ranch dressing. I use the crumbles because I like blue cheese. I've also done it in the crock pot for pot lucks. SO yummy. I like mine with tortilla chips but Rondell just eats it with a spoon. Glad you liked it :)
ReplyDeleteOh, and yes, I have all kinds of splatters on my recipes.
ReplyDeleteYummy!!! We call this "crack" dip because you can't have just one serving!!! Pinning this recipe!!
ReplyDeleteI tried this today and my family LOVED it!! Thanks for sharing so many easy recipes on here I have tried several and they have all been YUM! So just wanted to say thanks!
